Typhoon Ompong: Situation in Santiago City

Weather in Santiago City, Isabela hours before Typhoon Mangkhut made a landfall in the province.


World Vision staff coordinate with the local social welfare on the situation of children and their families inside the evacuation centers.


Frances, 5, is not aware of the pending disaster that might hit her province in the succeeding hours. She’s staying inside the evacuation center with her family and relatives.

Neslyn, 7, says she fears for the coming typhoon Ompong (Mangkhut) which she heard from her parents will be one of the strongest to possibly hit her province.
